Xivogo Trust Protocol
XTP separates the strength of the evidence from the current state of a story. The same input always produces the same rating, with no percentages, secret scores or AI decisions.
Trust Level
Trust Level describes how strongly the available evidence supports a story. Reports that trace back to the same original source are not counted twice.
XTP-TRUST-1The available evidence is not strong enough for a higher rating yet.
XTP-TRUST-2At least one strong evidence group supports the story.
XTP-TRUST-3At least two strong and editorially independent evidence groups support the story.
XTP-TRUST-4An authorised official source has confirmed the move.
Story State
A story can be reported by several outlets and still receive an official denial. Story State is designed to show that situation clearly.
XTP-STATE-1There is currently no contradiction strong enough to change the story state.
XTP-STATE-2An official statement contradicts the story.
XTP-STATE-3At least two strong and editorially independent evidence groups contradict the story.
XTP-STATE-4An official tactical denial has been recorded without changing the story state.
