Xivogo Trust Protocol

XTP rulebook

XTP separates the strength of the evidence from the current state of a story. The same input always produces the same rating, with no percentages, secret scores or AI decisions.

Trust Level

Four clear ratings

Trust Level describes how strongly the available evidence supports a story. Reports that trace back to the same original source are not counted twice.

XTP-TRUST-1

The available evidence is not strong enough for a higher rating yet.

XTP-TRUST-2

At least one strong evidence group supports the story.

XTP-TRUST-3

At least two strong and editorially independent evidence groups support the story.

XTP-TRUST-4

An authorised official source has confirmed the move.

Story State

Separate from Trust Level

A story can be reported by several outlets and still receive an official denial. Story State is designed to show that situation clearly.
